3 Day Eventing
3 Day Eventing is an equestrian triathlon. It involves three phases that are typically shown over a three-four day span: dressage, cross-country/endurance, and show jumping. Eventing has its roots in a comprehensive cavalry test requiring mastery of several types of riding, that has evolved into the modern day show ring, known as eventing or 3 day eventing.
Scoring- Horse and rider accumulate penalty points in each phase based on varying factors and the rider with the lowest amount of points at the end of the three phases takes home top honors. There are various levels of difficulty to accommodate all horses and riders.
$60 a day at rated shows or $150 for the weekend.
That includes 2 cross country course walks and 1 stadium course walk and Warm up each day for their division.
